As our Application Manager you oversee our diverse application landscape and ensure our systems meet the evolving demands of the hospitality industry.


As Zoku’s Application Manager, you’ll maintain and improve the performance and functionality of our essential business applications. Acting as the key link between our operational teams and management, you will ensure that applications like our Property Management System, CRM, Point of Sale system, IBE and payment processors are running effectively and aligned with our strategic objectives.


You'll manage relationships with our application suppliers, stay updated on patches and new releases, and identify opportunities for improvement by engaging with stakeholders across various departments. Your role is crucial in understanding the business needs and reflecting them in our systems, leading to the implementation of new features or enhancements.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No day looks the same as Application Manager… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our application landscape, ensuring all systems are utilized to their full potential.
  • Look after all Zoku applications, making sure they're updated and running smoothly.
  • Gather feedback from our stakeholders and pinpoint areas for application enhancements or new feature development.
  • Manage projects to improve performance, usability, and integration across all properties within existing and new applications.
  • Work closely with operations and management to align business needs with technological solutions.
  • Maintain a Third-Party Risk Management framework to reduce risks associated with third-party vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Zoku’s IT policies, supporting cybersecurity and GDPR / PCI requirements where applicable.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions within hospitality applications, enhancing productivity and allowing staff to focus on higher-value activities.
  • Organize and lead internal training sessions to help staff effectively use our applications.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have experience in managing application systems within the hospitality sector such as PMS, POS, CRM, IBE, lock systems and payment processors. 
  • You can translate complex technical information into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • You have up to date knowledge of AI tools applicable to the hospitality sector. 
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working permit for The Netherlands.
  • You are available for 32-40 hours per week.
