Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize – while wiring residents into the local scene. During this internship (starting in March 2025) you'll be responsible for applying the Zoku brand image within our different Zoku locations in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Vienna and Paris. You’ll be coming up with new designs, improving existing ones, producing marketing materials, branded items and artwork for all locations.
You will be working at our Support Office in Amsterdam, alongside our Brand team and will report to our Graphic Designer.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Graphic Design Intern… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Project work: You will work together with the Branding team on many different types of projects at the same time, including producing designs for all sorts of items we'll use / sell at all locations, e.g., event posters, flyers, promotional kits, presentations, press kits, t-shirts, tote bags, water bottles and much more!
Bring out your inner Picasso: We'll need your artistic skills for all our patterns, artwork designs and graphic prints.
Be a content pro: You'll support our Marketing team with content including updating the website and creating social media assets.

Job requirements
WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO
- Have strong experience in graphic design, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop (After Effects is a plus!) and are great with visuals.
- Have an eye for color and aren’t afraid to get artsy.
- Are enthusiastic, humorous and friendly (we promise we are too!).
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, constantly looking for improvements to our brand.
- Are reliable and stress-proof, with the ability to handle many different tasks at once.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Are a perfectionist, minding the details.
- Have some experience in photography and a good eye for editing photos (it’s a plus!).
A FEW MUST HAVES
- You're studying at an MBO+, HBO (college), or Master’s program, or completing a placement year in Graphic Design, Communication, or Branding.
- You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
- You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for the Netherlands.
- You need to do a mandatory internship as part of your curriculum, minimum 6 months.
- You are available full-time / minimum of 40 hours per week.
- You are available to start in March 2025.
