Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize – while wiring residents into the local scene. As our P&C Coordinator, you will have a key role in lifting the P&C way of working at our Support Office. You’ll not only manage HR operations but also drive initiatives that align with Zoku’s vision of connecting and inspiring people. Your work will directly influence how we attract, engage, and retain talent while supporting our leaders in fostering an empowering, growth-oriented culture. You are based in our Support office in Amsterdam.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No day looks the same as a  People & Culture Coordinator… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Be our culture guardian: You will be the contact person for all Zokus at the Support Office (~40 Zokus), handling all questions that come to you on people related topics. You will build engagement through initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction & well-being and you will create and implement policies that reflect Zoku's values & culture.

Rock the entire employee lifecycle: You will lead and support the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. You provide expert advice and ensure compliance with Dutch labor law. Next to this, you'll ensure our Zokus get paid on time and enjoy the benefits they deserve by managing the monthly payroll.

Participate in projects: You'll support learning & development efforts by working closely with team leads and our L&D lead and will participate in several P&C projects. 


Keep the Zoku wheels turning:  And you'll keep our office well stocked with weekly groceries and manage the rotational office cleaning duties.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You are not just a P&C Coordinator; you’re a partner who understands how People & Culture can shape and drive business success.
  • You combine a solid understanding of HR operations with a proactive approach to improving processes.
  • You have at least a bachelor level in HR with at least 1 year of relevant experience as a P&C Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Fluent in Dutch labor law (this is essential) and able to navigate the legal aspects with ease.
  • You’re fluent in English and have excellent communication skills, other languages, such as Dutch, are a plus.
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for the Netherlands.
  • You are available for 32 or 40 hours per week.
