Working for a "good company" company
Do you know how to turn a brand into a scroll-stopping social presence? Are you a natural storyteller with a sharp eye for content, community and consistency? Then keep reading!
Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We're a new type of hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize across Europe. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving Zokus who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

TELL ME MORE
As our Social Media & Content Manager, you'll be responsible for bringing the Zoku brand to life across our social channels through sharp storytelling, influencer collaborations and genuine community engagement.
You own the channels: 5 Instagram accounts, 1 LinkedIn and 1 TikTok across Amsterdam, Vienna, Paris and Copenhagen. You decide what we need to say, when we say it, what gets published, how it's captioned and how we respond when people talk back. You also own the numbers: growth, engagement, and what the data tells us to do next.
Here's the important boundary, because we've seen this role get muddy elsewhere: you don't run the camera. We are also hiring a Content Creator & Video Editor who owns shoots, filming and editing, and a network of Community Managers capturing raw local moments. Your job is to define the content we need and brief it clearly, then turn what comes back into a channel presence that grows. Demand and publishing are yours. Production is theirs.
Given Zoku's lean team structure, this role still asks for a balance of creativity, organization and hands-on execution. One day you might be building the content calendar, the next you could be briefing the next campaign's asset list, coordinating an influencer stay, digging into performance data or having a proper conversation with someone in the comments.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Social Media & Content Manager… but here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
Lead the Social Strategy: Own Zoku's social media strategy and make sure our channels support our brand, marketing and commercial goals.
Own the Content Calendar: Lead organic content planning and routine management across 5 Instagram accounts, 1 LinkedIn channel and 1 TikTok channel.
Define & Brief the Content We Need: Translate marketing, brand and commercial priorities into a clear content demand — what we need, for which channel, by when and why — and brief it to the Content Creator & Video Editor. You set the ask, they produce it.
Select, Caption & Publish: Choose the strongest material from what the Content Creator delivers and what local Community Managers capture, write the copy that makes it land, and get it out on time and on brand.
Bring the Brand to Life: Turn Zoku's spaces, people, events, offers and brand stories into engaging social content that feels relevant, on-brand and worth sharing.
Manage Influencer Collaborations: Identify, brief and coordinate influencer partnerships, from creator selection to content delivery, ensuring every collaboration supports Zoku's goals.
Grow the Community: Manage online community engagement, respond to comments and messages, and help create meaningful conversations with residents, guests, locals and partners.
Tell Local Teams What to Look Out For: Guide Community Managers on the moments worth capturing and the social opportunities in their location, working alongside the Content Creator who trains them on how to capture it.
Work Smart with AI: Use AI as a standard part of how you work — idea generation, first-draft captions and variants, trend and competitor research, community listening, summarising performance — so more of your time goes to judgement, taste and community rather than admin.
Track What Works: Monitor performance, report on social growth and use insights to improve content, engagement and channel performance.
Spot New Opportunities: Stay on top of social trends, formats and platform updates, identify what's worth testing for Zoku, and decide whether we should be on any additional channels at all.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
A maximum salary of €3000,= gross monthly in accordance with experience and know-how.
A bonus system based on your team's collective goals.
Cool benefits like discounts, friends & family rates at all Zoku locations and plenty of reasons to visit our hotels.
A fun, international company with colleagues from across the globe to meet, learn and grow with.
Exciting on-the-job learning opportunities and fun events throughout the year to celebrate achievements and milestones.
A creative role with real ownership over how Zoku shows up online: strategy included, not just scheduling.
A dedicated Content Creator & Video Editor producing for you, so you're not stuck shooting your own content all the time.
A role at one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world, that feels like a second home and is purpose-driven.
