As our  Maintenance Specialist you are responsible for the smooth-running of the entire hotel, you handle all internal repairs and carry out preventive maintenance yourself. You coordinate repairs in more specialised areas with external parties, by managing the entire process from contracting, requesting, reviewing quotes and following up on the process. The position reports directly into the General Manager. 


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be responsible for handling incidental repairs and preventive maintenance like:  

  • Keeping control over the maintenance plan 

  • Operating legal operational tasks like legionella prevention and fire safety 

  • Assisting and checking repairs handled by external parties 

  • Assigning tasks, giving instructions and auditing work on quality and progress executed by external parties  

  • Small adjustments to electricity and data facilities  

  • Executing common repairs, installing equipment and hardware, sanitary facilities, lighting, door mechanisms, paintwork etc. 

  • Managing arising issues and responding to any questions/concerns from internal departments/guests 

  • Monitoring equipment/supplies and request purchasing orders if necessary 

  • Operating our Building Management System, Maintenance program, and recording/managing all repairs within this system

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position  

  • You are fluent in French and understand English

  • You are an EU citizen or have a valid work visa for France

  • You are fully flexible/no fixed working days/hours
