We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize – while wiring residents into the local scene. As our Breakfast Chef, you’ll be the maestro of the morning, crafting breakfasts that are as beautiful as they are delicious. From breakfast, brunch, to lunch, you’ll be plating up dishes that are not just tasty but also visually stunning. Plus, you'll get to flex your creativity with daily-changing lunch offerings using the freshest ingredients. At Zoku, mornings are more than just a time of day – they’re a vibe. So, if you can crack eggs with a smile, whip up gravity-defying pancake stacks, and create avocado toasts worthy of a double-tap, we want you!

You’re not just a chef, you’re a morning mood booster. As the friendly face of our kitchen, you’ll be serving up more than just food – you’ll be serving up memorable moments with every conversation.

Level Up: We’re all about leveling up. With seasoned mentors and plenty of opportunities to refine your craft, you’ll go from great to gourmet in no time.

Team Spirit: As part of our team, you’re more than just kitchen crew – you’re a key player. You’ll collaborate closely with the entire operational team to create a seamless and fun guest experience.

WHEN YOU'LL BE ON

You’ll kickstart your day with the sunrise from our rooftop kitchen with a view.

  • Morning Shift (AM Shift): 06:30 to 15:00 or 07:00 to 15:30.

Job requirements

WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO

  • Bring creativity and passion to every dish they create, never settling for the ordinary and ready to experiment at every turn. 

  • Can juggle multiple tasks while staying cool-headed and warm-hearted.

  • Are all about the good vibes — friendly, positive, and ready to roll with the punches.

  • Love working with others and are always ready to lend a hand – no traditional kitchen hierarchies to be found here. 

  • Thrive in an open kitchen and love engaging with guests.

  • Have experience in healthy homestyle cooking – bonus points for vegetarian and vegan skills!

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have hands-on experience in a similar kitchen role, ideally for one year.

  • You have experience with implementing the local HACCP guidelines.

  • You are fluent in English – other languages are a plus.

  • You are an EU resident or have a working and living permit valid for The Netherlands.

  • You are flexible, as you’ll have no fixed working days. 

  • You love to work as we'll need you full-time (40 hours).
