TELL ME MORE
As our Meeting & Events Supervisor, you’ll take the lead in planning, running, and overseeing the seamless execution of all meetings and events at Zoku Amsterdam. From making sure our spaces look their absolute best to being the welcoming face of the department, you’ll ensure every guest feels perfectly cared for.
Your day to day involves running the show, making sure everyone's having a great time and leading a small team. You will also be working closely together with other superstars like the Culinary team, Meeting & Events Specialists, Duty Lead (Operations Manager) and the Community Manager. All while reporting to the General Manager of Zoku Amsterdam.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Meeting & Events Supervisor (Operations)… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
The ultimate party planner: On the day of each meeting or event, you and your team act as the main point of contact for everything M&E. You’ll plan, organize, run and oversee the smooth setup while ensuring the highest quality of our event spaces and meeting rooms.
Creating memorable meetings: You are responsible for coordinating all aspects of corporate and social events. This includes welcoming guests, acting as their main point of contact on site, managing schedules, and ensuring that all behind-the-scenes details run smoothly. With your efforts, every event delivers a seamless experience and creates lasting memories for our guests.
A true connector: You’re great at creating genuine moments with guests that leave them feeling right at home, while keeping service smooth and flawless throughout the day. At the same time, your regular check-ins with colleagues (from M&E Sidekick to Intern) help lift the whole department to the next level.
Dive into action: Each week, you’ll connect with the Culinary team to align on F&B services and join the M&E Specialist to align on sales, bookings, revenue, budgets, and future opportunities. From there, you’ll turn plans into action and be the driving force behind reaching (and surpassing) the M&E budget targets.
Lead by example: You'll be responsible for supervising and fostering the engagement, development, and performance of your team. Your way of leading will ensure the team operates at its best.
