The People & Culture Coordinator loves to take care of our team and is passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging working environment throughout the whole employee circle.  As a proud supporter of a purpose driven company, you will support in guarding and growing our awesome Zoku culture and make sure our values are lived, while managing the admin tasks.

You will report to the General Manager in Amsterdam and the People & Culture Manager in Amsterdam, while working closely together with the international team of P&C Coordinators.  


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a versatile People & Culture Coordinator in Amsterdam no day looks the same… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect: 

Be our culture guardian: You will be the contact person for all Zokus (~40 team members), handle onboardings and advise leaders on people related topics. You will set measures to promote Zoku culture and organize trainings.

Rock administrative tasks: 
 You are responsible for all employee admin tasks, keep track of time recording and complete the month end payroll together with our payroll provider. You ensure proper contracting of all employees, safety at work and check that we follow the right labor law.

Plan legendary team outings: Zoku is not just a workplace! Based on the annual P&C calendar you organize team events together with the party committee and take care of the local employee benefit program. You also carry out employee surveys and analyze results together with the leadership team.

Find the next superstars: Together with our leaders you organize the recruiting and hiring of all departments whilst keeping our job platform up to date. You are also in close contact with universities and attend fairs to promote Zoku as an employer of choice.

Job requirements

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have at least a bachelor level in the field of HR, psychology or business

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and experience working with Dutch labor law, a background in hospitality is ideal

  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English, other languages are a plus 

  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for the Netherlands

  • You are available for 32-40 hours per week
