    TELL ME MORE

Are you someone who loves both creating a great guest experience and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly?

During your Sidekick Meetings & Events Internship at Zoku Copenhagen (starting in February 2027), you’ll get the best of both worlds: hands-on event operations combined with the coordination and admin that brings each event to life.

Your week will be a mix between working operationally on the floor and supporting our Meetings & Events Specialist behind the scenes. This means you’ll get to experience the full event journey, from the first inquiry and preparations, all the way to setup, service, execution and follow-up.

On your operational days, you’ll be the go-to person for meetings and events of all shapes and sizes. You’ll set up spaces, welcome guests, serve food and drinks, keep an eye on the details and help make sure everything runs seamlessly. As a true Sidekick, you’ll also jump in to support our wider hotel operations when needed.

On your admin days, you’ll work closely with our Meetings & Events Specialist to support incoming requests, prepare upcoming events, communicate details with clients and internal teams, and keep everything organized behind the scenes. It’s the perfect opportunity to understand both what guests see and everything that needs to happen before they arrive.

At the heart of it, you love hosting, organizing and bringing people together, and you’re excited to learn what makes a great event work from start to finish.

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No day looks the same as a Sidekick Meetings & Events Intern… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Bring meetings and events to life: You’ll set up and style our meeting rooms and event spaces, making sure everything is ready to welcome our guests and create a memorable experience.

Be the host: You’ll welcome meeting and event guests, guide them to the right spaces and make sure their needs are met throughout their time with us. From brewing coffees to serving drinks, you’ll help keep the good vibes flowing.

Support events behind the scenes: Alongside our Meetings & Events Specialist, you’ll help manage inquiries, prepare bookings and event details, support client communication and make sure everything is properly organized before the event takes place.

Connect the dots: You’ll help make sure all relevant event information is communicated clearly between the Meetings & Events Specialist, Kitchen and Operations teams so everyone knows exactly what’s happening and when.

Food, drinks and good vibes: Whether you’re supporting a meeting, behind the bar or out on the floor, you’ll serve up delicious dishes and drinks and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Follow the event journey from start to finish: You’ll gain experience with everything from initial requests and preparations to execution, feedback and follow-up, giving you a complete understanding of how meetings and events work at Zoku.

Be a true Sidekick: Your role goes beyond M&E. You’ll also jump in to support daily hotel operations, from welcoming residents at check-in to making coffees behind the bar or helping out in our Living Kitchen.

    WHAT MAKES THE INTERNSHIP UNIQUE?

    • You'll experience both sides of Meetings & Events. Build your skills both operationally on the floor and behind the scenes, giving you a complete understanding of how an event comes together.

    • You'll see your work come to life. Help prepare an event during your admin days and then experience how those plans translate into the real guest experience.

    • You'll become an M&E all-rounder. Develop your hosting, coordination, communication and organizational skills while gaining hands-on experience across hospitality operations.

    • You can bring your knowledge into practice. With an "Always Beta" mentality, you'll be encouraged to share ideas and help us improve the way we work.

    • You'll get a second family. Become part of our Zoku community of fellow colleagues, residents and visitors.

    • You'll be part of a future-oriented hospitality concept. We’re not like your average hotel or event space (feel free to stop by Zoku to see for yourself!).

    • You'll make a difference. As an important part of our team, you'll get plenty of responsibility and your ideas will be valued.
